Frequently asked Questions

Q:  Who is the guy with a fish on the front page?

A:  Me, some Models and Customers feel better if they know what someone looks like before they meet.  This is me and a nice Fish I caught and since I am always taking the pictures I am in very few of them.

Q:  I want to become a Model can you help?

A:  I can help with building your  portfolio, show you how get involved with One Model Place or Model Mayhem.  I can try to submit photos to some publishers, and get you involved with other Photographers. Unfortunately I cannot promise anything but my help.

Q:  I need more pictures for my portfolio?

A:  I will help develop Model Portfolio’s on a TF* Basis.  I am almost always willing to work on a TF* basis if it benefits both parties.

Q:  I don’t want my pictures to be sold to anyone else?

A:  If you are paying for your photo shoot, then all the images are for your own use and will not be sold to anyone for any reason.  Promotional consideration, and Photographer credit is asked.  Photographer still holds all rights and royalties to the original images.

Q:  How do I see the pictures you took?

A:  I use a Processor for prints; “Fotki” they do a nice job and no complaints so far.

Q:  I would like to bring an escort or friend to the shoot?

A:  That is a purely your option and I have no problem with it as long as they don’t get in the way, or damage anything.  In fact maybe they can help with ideas or reflectors…...

Q:  I want my pictures to include my Car, Truck or Motorcycle?

A:  Not usually a problem we can get most vehicles in the studio or we can bring the studio to your location.

Q:  I can’t get to the studio or I found a cool location, can we shoot elsewhere?

A:  We have several light sets, some sets were purchased for on location or a secluded area in mind. We can shoot almost entirely mobile.  We can bring the Studio to YOU!

Q:  If I don’t want prints how about a CD/DVD of the jpg images, can we do that?

A:  Yes absolutely, I will upload the images to Fotki and you can choose from them.  I’ll put them on cd/dvd and get them to yah at a resolution of 1944px on the long side landscape or portrait.  Bigger by request.

Q:  I don’t want anyone to see the nude or special pictures of me on Fotki

A:  If I took pictures for your personal use.  For example, If you wanted a few romantic or sexy pictures or images for your Husband or Boyfriend like an album.  I will place them behind a password protected album on Fotki and no one but you should see them.

Q:  Is there anything you wont take a picture of:

A:  At this time we do not shoot video, and would prefer not to shoot anything truly tasteless.  However it doesn’t hurt to ask, so please ask. Worst I could say is no and direct you to someone who will.

Q: Why Are the Pictures during the ceremony or reception grainy?

A: When a flash is not available during a ceremony or in dark receptions the Camera's Iso has to be raised and/or f-stop lowered to get a exposure worth taking. some cases there is not enough light to get a correct or decent exposure, consider this when booking a building for a ceremony, no light no fabulous picture. With the correct light you can make a poster with the right camera and photographer. Good light is Everything, how well can you see well in the dark?
